"MY FIRST X VIDEO MADE OVER $250,000!" In the video, Donaldson and his team venture into a variety of automobiles, including flying cars and amphibian cars. X launched its Creator Revenue Share program last year, offering creators a share of the ad revenue made from their posts. Musk welcomed his video to X with a quote post that read, "First MrBeast video posted directly on X!" While his reported revenue from his debut X video looks like a big number, it's not a lot for MrBeast.

Rapper Eminem has demanded Vivek Ramaswamy stop using his music on the campaign trail — and the Republican presidential candidate looks ready to let the issue go. In a cease-and-desist order sent to Ramaswamy's lawyer on Aug. 23, music publisher BMI said Eminem took issue with the use of his music during Ramaswamy's campaign events. In response, the Ramaswamy campaign signaled the GOP hopeful will not perform the song again. To the American people's chagrin, we will have to leave the rapping to the real slim shady," a spokesperson for the Ramaswamy campaign told NBC News. Many politicians have been sent similar cease-and-desist orders in past election cycles over their campaign song choices.

They finished well before 7 a.m. and Mendez drove home at 6:30 a.m. At that time of day there is little traffic, so it took him just 10 minutes. Like dozens of others, Mendez worked tirelessly to make sure the arena could handle its frenetic week. The busiest time came in the 36 hours after the Kings game Friday, when the building turned over from the Kings to the Clippers to the Lakers and back to the Kings. All three teams have called the arena home since 1999, when it opened as Staples Center. “My favorite part of this is when they’re done,” said Lee Zeidman, the president of Crypto.com Arena; the nearby Microsoft Theater; and the surrounding entertainment district, L.A. Live.

Three people close to FTX and Bankman-Fried told CNBC that the former CEO lobbied aggressively for a partnership with 11-time Grammy Award winner Taylor Swift. Bankman-Fried's commitment to getting the Swift deal done despite the deteriorating business environment fit a pattern of ignoring his lieutenants and going it alone, a half-dozen former company insiders and business partners said. The Financial Times reported earlier that FTX held talks with Swift about a potential sponsorship. Part of the Swift deal would have included the production by the singer of a collection of non-fungible tokens (NFTs), or digital items that can rise and fall in value. Beyond that, there was a lack of clarity over what Swift would be doing for the company, sources said.

REUTERS/Mario Anzuoni/File PhotoWASHINGTON, Nov 29 (Reuters) - U.S. lawmakers on Tuesday pressed the Federal Trade Commission to enforce a 2016 law against ticket scalpers using bots after Ticketmaster blamed the software for troubles selling tickets to pop superstar Taylor Swift's upcoming tour. Ticketmaster (LYV.N) canceled planned ticket sales to the general public for Swift's 2023 U.S. concert tour, her first in five years, earlier this month as 3.5 billion ticket requests from fans, bots and scalpers overwhelmed the website. Taylor Swift's tour promoter is shifting blame for the botched "Eras" ticket sale squarely onto Ticketmaster, potentially fueling even more concerns about the Live Nation-owned ticket seller's dominant role in the industry. AEG Presents, the company in charge of handling Swift's upcoming tour, has rejected claims made by Ticketmaster and Live Nation's largest shareholder, Liberty Media, that the promoter chose to work with the ticketing site. Lawmakers, like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., called for more oversight on Live Nation, which merged with Ticketmaster in 2010, expressing antitrust concerns. They have called on the Department of Justice to investigate Ticketmaster and Live Nation for "hiking up ticket prices" and "charging rip-off junk fees." On Friday, The New York Times reported the Justice Department had already opened an antitrust investigation into Live Nation's practices prior to the Swift ticket sale fiasco.

London CNN —Andy Taylor, guitarist with British New Romantic group Duran Duran at the height of their fame, is battling stage four prostate cancer. Taylor, who did not join his former bandmates John Taylor, Simon Le Bon, Roger Taylor and Nick Rhodes at the Class of 2022 celebrations due to ongoing treatment, wrote a letter to mark the occasion. Simon Le Bon, John Taylor, Andy Taylor, Roger Taylor and Nick Rhodes of Duran Duran Derek Storm/FilmMagic/Getty Images“There’s nothing that comes close to such recognition. You can dream about what happened to us but to experience it, on one’s own terms, as mates, was beyond incredible,” Taylor wrote in the message relayed by Le Bon. According to the American Cancer Society, about one in eight men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during his lifetime.
Duran Duran guitarist Andy Taylor was not able to attend Saturday night's Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, where the band was honored, due to a setback in a stage 4 prostate cancer diagnosis, according to a statement from the English band. "Just over 4-years ago I was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer," the letter read. "Recently I was doing okay after some very sophisticated life extending treatment, that was until a week or so ago when I suffered a setback," Taylor wrote. Taylor said it was an honor to even be nominated for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, let alone inducted, and addressed his bandmates of 44 years as his brothers. Duran Duran was the first act inducted at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles Saturday night.
Duran Duran stumbled but stayed sophisticated. The four acts found very different ways to celebrate on Saturday night, but all can now forever say they’re Rock & Roll Hall of Famers. “Rock & Roll is not a color,” he said. “One, I know, is that I’m a rapper and this is the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.”He’s only the 10th hip-hop artist among well over 300 members of the Hall of Fame. “I‘ve been rockin’ rockin’ rockin’ rockin’ since the day I was born,” she sang, “and I’ll be rockin’ to the day I’m gone.”She closed the night leading an all-star jam of her fellow inductees on her country classic “Jolene.” Le Bon, Benatar and even Judas Priest singer Rob Halford took a verse.

Witnessing Arab women flourish on the small screen, showcasing their talents and breaking through the presumption that they are oppressed is widely significant. That is not to say Arab women live in a utopia in the Middle East. The implication is that these Arab women have no depth to their character other than their attire. Just as common are images of Arab women living as concubines in harems waiting to please men. But the achievements of the past week should help to break down the stereotypes surrounding Arab women and inspire them to dream big.
